Description
When an aspiring young actor returns home for the holidays, he finds his family mired in dysfunction and his beloved grandmother relegated to a nursing home. Disturbed by Granny's deteriorating state, he abducts her and hits the road with his father and siblings in hot pursuit. An unusual cross-country venture unfolds, culminating in the California desert in a surprising and unexpected way.
