Description
In Amritsar, India, the Bakshi family is focused on marrying off their four daughters, but complications arise as the daughters fall for men their family disapproves of. Lalita Bakshi, one of the daughters, meets the wealthy American Will Darcy at a friend's wedding and initially clashes with him over their differing views. As Lalita and Darcy's relationship develops, she encounters Darcy's former friend Johnny Wickham, who reinforces her negative view of Darcy. The situation is further complicated when the family friend Kohli Saab expresses interest in Lalita, and despite her mother's pressure, Lalita rejects his proposal.
