Notes
General Note
This kit checks out as a unit to a single patron, who is solely responsible for its contents. Kits may not be returned in a book drop, but must be brought to a desk. There is a limit of 1 STEM kit per patron.
General Note
This kit originally came with an experiment involving fake blood; this component has been removed since it could be used only once.
Description
STEM Kits empower kids to see themselves as scientists, engineers, creators, and makers. Inspired by both STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and the Maker Movement, STEM Kits are created for elementary children to encourage discovery.
Target Audience
Recommended for ages 5 and up according to packaging.
Local note
This service is generously supported by a donation from the Rotary Club of Gainesville.
